So, it's been 10 years since the release of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel (21st December, though this video may be uploaded on the 20th). The 21st December is also my birthday! 10 years ago, when I turned 9, I saw this movie and I was hooked. The CGI Chipmunks have always and always will be my favourite versions of them, and I fell in love with the Hot N Cold scene with the Chipettes in particular! So that's why I have chosen to do this song. It has a special place in my heart, just like the Chipmunks and the Chipettes.
Today I turn 19, and I have collected a great deal of Chipmunks merchandise from across the generations. But the Squeakuel, and all 4 of the CGI movies, will always be my favourites. Thanks, Chipmunks and Chipettes, for so many great memories with my nan and for getting me through some tough times. You have always been there for me to cheer me up and make me smile. And here's to many, many more years of that joy to come 💙💙💙
