Prime Minister Philip Davis' Intervention at the 7th CELAC

Описание: In his recent travels to the Opening Session of The Heads of Summit Meeting of CELAC In Buenos Aires, Argentina, Prime Minister Davis highlighted a number of pressing matters to his colleagues urging them “to share a determination to make each meeting, and each conversation, a stepping stone to real progress for people.”

PM Davis discussed the worsening state of crisis in Haiti which poses a threat not only to Haitian nationals but also to The Bahamas and neighbouring countries which are experiencing a tremendous influx in irregular and dangerous migration.

It is the hope of the Prime Minister that the CELAC collective and other regional organizations with the support and leadership of Haiti can help Haitians build a path out of crisis.
