French President Emmanuel Macron phoned Donald Trump from a street in New York City after being blocked by the US President’s motorcade.
Mr Macron was on his way to the French embassy after the first day of the United Nations General Assembly when he was stopped by police officers.
He phoned Mr Trump to tell him, “Guess what? I’m waiting in the street because everything is frozen for you.”
