Описание: Well heres a little music video on a friend's HO Scale Michigan layout. Featuring GTW's fast Pacific locomotives is #5630 pulling a lengthy passenger train and its fast paced movement tuned alongside Vivian Ellis' 'Coronation Scot' song. The real Coronation Scot was a famed fast streamlined locomotive that ran on the London, Midland and Scottish Railway from 1937 for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth which ran until the start of the WWII in 1939. The train ran on the West Coast Main Line between London (Euston) and Glasgow (Central station), stopping at Carlisle for a crew change and to pick up and set down passengers to and from London only. The service was designed to compete with the rival services on the East Coast Main Line, for prestigious London to Scotland traffic. It was scheduled to complete the journey from London to Glasgow in 6 hours 30 minutes. The locomotive achieved 114 mph (183 km/h) in 1937.
