"This Wurlitzer Military Band Organ Style 125 was the first organ Bill Nunn bought (along with a Wellershaus organ in pieces), and the start of his collection back in 1998. Bill believed that this is either a DeKleist organ or a North Tonawanda organ converted to play Wurlitzer rolls. It has the Wurlitzer 4-in-1 pot metal valves and plays Wurlitzer Style 125 music. The quarter-sawn oak case contrasts nicely with the brass trumpets, which made this a very popular organ for carnivals and roller rinks.
The organ case is in good visual condition, but the lower bottom veneer has been damaged and comes loose. It features Wurlitzer and Allan Herschell Co. vinyl decals, a plastic or resin gold leaf covered eagle decoration, and is mounted on 4 rotating wheels.
The organ is very loud and the music definitely carries, the organ is able to attract fairground customers from a distance or overcome the skate noise at the rink. Currently, the organ has been tuned and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with 11 music rolls. Powered by 110V.
