Welcome to another episode of the MrExcel podcast. In today's episode, we will be discussing Roulette Analysis and how to use Excel to analyze the results of the last 1,000 Roulette spins. This question was sent in by Conrad, who noticed that some numbers seem to come up more frequently than others on the Roulette table. So, let's dive in and see if we can find any patterns in the data.

To start off, we will insert a pivot table and use the last 1,000 Roulette results as our data. We will then put the numbers from 0 to 36 in the Row Labels and the same data in the Values section. However, instead of summing the values, we will change the field settings to count the occurrences of each number. This will give us a clear picture of which numbers are coming up more frequently.

After sorting the data in descending order, we can see that the hot numbers are 7, 17, 11, 21, and 10. But what if we want to focus on just the top 5 numbers? We can use the Value Filters option and select the Top 10 option, then choose to show the top 5 items based on the count of the last 1,000 spins. This will give us a more specific view of the hot numbers.

On the other hand, if we want to see which numbers have not come up in a while and may be considered overdue, we can use the Value Filters option again and select the Bottom 10 option. This time, we will choose to show the bottom 5 items based on the count of the last 1,000 spins. These numbers may be worth keeping an eye on as they may be due to come up soon.

In conclusion, using a simple pivot table with a count of each number can help us analyze the trend of the last 1,000 Roulette spins.
