All kidding aside, I was excited to have the opportunity to unbox and jam on this little Martin. This is a 20 fret, 23" scale length guitar built in Martin's factory in the city of Navojoa in Sonora, Mexico. It has a nut width of 43mm. Several "alternative materials" were used in the construction. The body is made of HPL (high-pressure laminate). The neck is a birch laminate called Stratabond. The fretboard and bridge are made of Richlite.
This Little Martin was purchased new in April 2021, and the serial number 381921 affirms it was made in this year.
