Описание: In this poetic presentation, Tracy “T-Spirit” Stanton will utilize the transformative power of poetry, and storytelling to highlight the mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of surrendering. We are often taught that surrendering is giving in or handing over your power to an authority GREATER than us, but we will discuss how survivors can surrender to WIN in an effort to retain and reclaim THE power that they possess.

Tracy ( T-Spirit) Stanton has facilitated hundreds of workshops, trainings, meetings, healing sessions and circles across the country and what you are witnessing in this preview is a workshop called the Sweet Surrender. This workshop was presented at the 4th Annual Arts and Equity Collectives Survivors Ball held in Cincinnati, OHIO.

Tracy is a survivor of sexual assault, substance use, incarceration, and herself and she finds great comfort in sharing her story and her tools of survivor with those who are still finding their way. She is also a founding member of the Freedom Community Center: an organization that supports survivors of violence and those that are responsible for harm…
