Описание: Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election Results LIVE: The ruling BJP and the opposition Congress are neck-and-neck in very early leads as counting of votes began - with postal ballots first to be opened for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election on Sunday morning.
At 8.50 am the BJP was ahead in 44 seats with the Congress leading in 47. These represent a potential gain of one seat for the BJP and a loss of three for the Congress, relative to the 2018 results.
Among the heavyweights contesting this election, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his predecessor, the Congress' Kamal Nath, were both leading their respective individual contests.
