Almost two decades after the release of the original, Grammy winning album, the romance of the Buena Vista Social Club continued with Lost & Found, a collection of previously unreleased tracks, some recorded at the first legendary sessions in Havana with producer Ry Cooder and others during the extraordinarily rich outpouring of music that followed.

All the studio tracks were recorded for World Circuit at the Egrem studio in Havana during the rich and prolific period of creativity that followed the recording of the original album and stretched into the early 2000s. Spiced with live recordings from the same fertile period, there’s a tremendous and sometimes surprising variety to the material heard on Lost & Found.

Buena Vista Social Club’s 25th Anniversary Editions, released on September 17th and comprising 2LP + 2CD Deluxe Book Pack, 2CD Casebook, 2LP Gatefold Vinyl and Digital Formats. These definitive editions are timed to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the album’s recording, and will also contain the original album as remastered by GRAMMY Winning engineer Bernie Grundman, as well as previously unheard tracks from the original 1996 session tapes. Other features across the formats include new liner notes, unseen photography and lyrics, with further biographies, art prints and a written history of the legendary original Havana club available exclusively within the Deluxe Book Pack format.
