The genesis for the project came after a disappointing Google search for the 10 most beautiful streets in London. What did I find? Over a dozen blogs listing a bunch of unconvincing and mostly unimpressive "Instagrammable" streets from various tourists who simply don't know the city like a local does. Having lived and breathed London for 10 years across multiple bases (flats, jobs and... well, ex-girlfriends' flats) I feel a responsibility to show the world where the beauty really lies in the UK's capital.
The plan is as follows: upload 100 or more walks of streets which I feel belong on the list in no particular order. After this comes the challenge where I assemble them in order and present the list to the world.
Having sunk some serious hours in already, I have a shortlist of just over 100 streets for consideration. I must stress, if you have suggestions for streets you'd like to see then please discuss in the comments below. I respond to almost all comments! I will take likes/dislikes as a form of feedback as well, of course. Plus if you have friends and family who love London, by all means share the videos! I could use all the feedback I can get. :)

Nothing says 19th century grandeur like the district of Belgravia just west of Buckingham Palace. Its namesake Belgrave Square is a case in point with white stuccoed Grade I and II listed buildings adjacent to the wide street forming the perimeter around a private garden with a secret tennis court within.
What is soon apparent based on the abundance of flags around the square is that Belgrave Square has an extremely high concentration of embassies. To name a few, you can find here the embassies of Romania, Syria, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Norway, Serbia, Bahrain and Turkey. Plus the High Commissions (i.e. Commonwealth embassies) of Ghana, Brunei, Trinidad and Tobago and Malaysia. I need a lie down now.
