Описание: The Wavelengths Global Music Conference is an important gathering of global music professionals in the USA. Produced by globalFEST, the forum is normally held during the APAP conference in New York each January and serves as space for critical dialogues between artists and arts professionals. It is considered an accessible resource for career development, networking, and leadership opportunities for the next generations of NYC arts professionals with an emphasis on younger BIPOC colleagues.

The 2022 Wavelengths conference began with an Opening Keynote Reflection from Gargi Shindé, the Director of Grant Programs at Chamber Music America

Ms. Shindé has twenty years of experience in the performing arts, specializing in education, program curation and production, artist development, and digital media. She has appeared on panels and lectured on performance histories, dismantling institutional bias, strategic program transformation, and funding underrepresented aesthetic practices, at conferences in Canada, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States. Her writing has been published in Theatre Research International and Arts and International Affairs.
