Описание: The most eagerly awaited event of every year at CHARUSAT is the Celebration of Sports and Cultural Week - Spoural. During the week, more than 22 Cultural Events like Dancing, Singing, Rangoli, Fashion Show, Mr. and Ms. CHARUSAT, Mimicry, Instrument Playing are organized with student participation exceeding 1200. Students also play various games and show the sportsman spirit. Key games include Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Chess, and Table Tennis.

Both, Students and Faculty members show equal participation during the Celebration.

At CHARUSAT, Central Council is constituted to enhance coordination among the Institute and Students and to organize co-curricular and extra – curricular activities. Through a layer of student representatives like General Secretary, Coordinators and Members, the Council organizes various Festival – Technical & Cultural etc. Celebration of Annual sports & Cultural events followed by Annual Day of the Institute marks the culmination of the Activities of the Central Council for a particular year.

Students with similar interests can create a Club/ Committee. It must be registered and approved by the Management of CHARUSAT. Students may approach their Principal for the purpose or

Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) has been conceived by Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal - a not for profit premier education trust of India having a social lineage of more than 118 years. CHARUSAT has been established by promulgation of Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. It is empowered to confer degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. Presently, CHARUSAT offers 64 programs from UG to Ph D under the tutelage of 8 Institutes and 6 Faculties. They are in the allied disciplines of Technology & Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Management, Applied Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and other Paramedical Sciences. All education programs are semester based and are delivered in English Medium. Credit and Grading Systems are followed for Teaching, Learning and Evaluation. Curriculum and Pedagogy at CHARUSAT correspond with societal needs. CHARUSAT strives to prepare students for global assignments. It aims to make its students Job Creators and not Job Seekers. The Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel believed, “Education without character is futile”. CHARUSAT proudly follows the spirit. It also follows founding High Moral Values like Honesty, Integrity, Transparency, Fairness, Equity, and Accountability. Efforts are also made for education amelioration in rural schools through a Rural Education Development Program. There also exists a Human Resource Development Centre to hone competencies of Faculty and Staff.
