Описание: Iran has warned that Israeli attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon could threaten Tehran's ceasefire with the US, after Israel's prime minister ordered strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the agreement with the US was "unequivocally a ceasefire on all fronts, including in Lebanon" and that "its violation on one front is a violation of the ceasefire on all fronts".

Earlier Benjamin Netanyahu said "terror targets" in Dahieh would be struck in response to Hezbollah rocket and drone attacks on Israeli civilians and other violations of a ceasefire announced in April that has failed to end the fighting.

Tehran on Monday suspended exchanges with the United States through mediators, according to Iranian state media, as tensions escalate over Israel’s widening military operations in Lebanon.

Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported that Tehran’s negotiating team had halted the exchange of messages and documents with the US via intermediaries, citing continued Israeli military activity in Lebanon.
