KERALA 🇮🇳 : Gods Own Country 4K

Описание: Namaste , and welcome back to yet another epic and culturally packed Indian adventure !

In this adventure we find ourselves in the South Indian state of Kerala, which has a very impressive moniker: " God's own country".

Kerala is very different from a lot of the other Indian states , as it is a lot "easier" to travel in, has a lot less touts, scams and poverty - and is also extremely diverse at its sceneries range from palm fingered beaches to lush green high altitude tea plantations and pristine jungles.

We begin our Kerala adventure in the ancient city of Cochin , aka Kochi which has been known for centuries as the "Queen of the Arabian sea". Cochin has been the epi-center of India's spice trade for 100's of years , even long before the colonialist opportunists came to its shores to plunder it and the whole of India of its riches and assets.

Cochin has retained a lot of its ancient charm , especially in its old town area known as Fort Kochi - where walking along its alleys one feels transported into an other era of Indian history.

After exploring the old quarters of Cochin , we head to the Cochin Kathakali Centre , where we will witness an ancient art form that it so synonymous with Kerala, that one can not even say "Kerala" without mentioning "Kathakali". Not only will we witness a performance , but I was also able to observe the make up process and preparations - a true feast for the senses.

As we venture further , we head out to Kerala's world famous backwaters - a lush natural spectacle of canals, rivers, lakes and more that display an unmatched flora and fauna - it is simply breathtaking , and we will have a 1st class vantage point from our private Shikara boat and of course the usual bird's eye drone perspective.

Finally , we head high into the mountains of the "Western Ghats" - where we see the other side of Kerala - its mountains, its tea and spice estates and its lush green roaring hills and valleys ...
