A publicly built waterfront resort on the western lakeshore where hundreds of thousands of working-class Torontonians spent their summers. It had a roller coaster, a dance hall, a boardwalk, and what was reputed to be one of the largest outdoor swimming pools in the world.

In 1955, it was demolished to make way for the Gardiner Expressway.
