At least 100 youthful female Ugandans are languishing in prisons in Kuwait over immigration and work related charges. According to the coordinator of the Anti human trafficking task force in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, many of these women escaped from their work places after being mistreated by their bosses but ended up in jail. It's a serious crime in Kuwait to abandon your work station without authority. This comes as five Ugandan girls trafficked abroad are due to return home.
