In this video we show what features to look for when purchasing a hardwire kit to power your dash cam. There are two basic types of kits: 1) where the camera is only powered when the ignition is turned on; 2) one where the camera can remain powered even when the ignition if off to provide security when not in the vehicle. Then I show how to install one of these step by step so that the wires are hidden making for a nice clean installation.
