बीकानेर में चल रहा खेजड़ी बचाओ महापड़ाव अब सिर्फ पर्यावरण का आंदोलन नहीं रहा… बल्कि यह आंदोलन धीरे-धीरे सियासी शक्ति परीक्षण में बदलता नजर आ रहा है। एक तरफ हजारों लोग खेजड़ी के संरक्षण की मांग को लेकर धरने पर डटे हुए हैं… तो दूसरी तरफ इस पूरे आंदोलन की धड़कन जैसे एक नाम पर आकर टिक गई है… और वो नाम है — राष्ट्रीय लोकतांत्रिक पार्टी सुप्रीमो हनुमान बेनीवाल। महापड़ाव में शामिल कई लोग लगातार बेनीवाल को बुलाने की अपील कर रहे हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर भी माहौल ऐसा बनाया जा रहा है कि अगर बेनीवाल इस आंदोलन में खुलकर उतरते हैं… तो सरकार पर दबाव कई गुना बढ़ सकता है। लेकिन इसी बीच बेनीवाल का एक बयान सामने आया… जिसने आंदोलन के सियासी समीकरण ही बदल दिए। बेनीवाल ने कहा — "पब्लिक हमें पुकार रही है… लेकिन जब तक मंच नहीं पुकारेगा, हर कहीं जाने की मेरी आदत नहीं है… मुझे फर्क पड़ता है कि आंदोलन कौन लीड कर रहा है। पूरी जानकारी के लिए देखिये विडियो..!
