South Africa preparing for elections on 29 May.
MOTIVATION:
As the church of God, we set the atmosphere and the motives of hearts. The song is a heart cry of the Holy Spirit to reinstate our need for God, the leader of nations. We must choose! Who will we serve? To what end?
May this song bring such an awareness of the King of Glory and His kingdom come – the One “strong and Mighty”. He who goes before fighting for us, mighty in battle against the evil and demonic. He leads us into
victory, spreading His good fragrance everywhere. It is a united South African voice of faith, hope and love: Glorious King Jesus! Save South Africa!

LYRICAL CONCEPTS:
Based on Psalm 24: The King of glory who inhabits and rules the whole earth through His church, His faith-filled governing power for kingdom servanthood.

Ezekiel 1 – the prophet had an encounter with the King of Glory to bring about the cleansing mercy of God by His judgement and correction of the nation of Israel in captivity.
They had spiritually regressed to becoming “dead bones” that the prophetic voice would resurrect. They had made their faith weak and idolatrous, among others. The glory of God had left the nation.

So Jesus Christ came 570 years later and embodied and manifested the revealed King of Glory previously hidden by the law.
Isaiah in ch. 60 prophesied what it would look like when the Christ, the Messiah would manifest. He fulfilled what Holy Spirit spoke through the prophetic Scriptures. Today in SA, Jesus Christ is the only answer. He is the perfect leader through His people, the church. He is our King and particularly the King of Glory making the difference and transforming hearts to become nation changers and builders.

This is of an indestructible kingdom vibrantly living within believers who yield, submit and surrender to His lifestyle in Holy Spirit. They are the kings and priests who manifest His glory.
In Matt 16 the question was asked of Jesus to His disciples: “Who do you say I am?” Notice Jesus did not commend Peter’s opinion but his revelation by the Spirit. “You are the Christ (Anointed One) – the chosen by God. Our willingness and yieldedness to being open hearted to
God’s eyes and ears – walking in His image is what empowers us to the subsequent blessing: to be given His authority: the keys of the Kingdom. Jesus revealed what that authority meant by demonstrating His glory: binding (omitting, disallowing, prohibiting, closing) and losing (permitting, engaging, opening, allowing).
Together we must stand and believe. But most importantly, decree His Gospel and obey it. It is the hope of SA and the world.
