White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the U.S. military campaign known as Operation Epic Fury has struck more than 5,000 targets in its first 10 days.
Speaking at a briefing, Leavitt said the operation has significantly reduced Iran’s offensive capabilities, with ballistic missile attacks down more than 90% and drone attacks falling by roughly 85% since the start of the campaign.
According to the White House, U.S. forces have also targeted the Iranian navy, destroying more than 50 vessels, including a major drone carrier ship. Officials said Iran’s naval forces are now assessed as largely combat ineffective and no longer operating in major regional waterways.
The operation is part of the broader U.S. military response to escalating tensions with Iran in the region.
