Cropping Jeans into Shorts:
Grab your favorite pair of shorts you already that own that are the perfect length on you and place them on top of the jeans you will be cropping, lining them up at the crotch. Cut the first leg slightly below the line of your shorts just in case you cut too short. Try on the pants after cutting just to be certain that the first leg has been cut the right length. After determining that the first leg is the perfect length, fold over your jeans so that the cut leg is on top of the uncut leg. Cut along the length of the leg following the line of the first leg. Throw them through the washer & dryer and you will have the perfect amount of distressing along the hem line! They get even more distressed as you continue wearing/washing them.

Cropping an Oversized Tee:
Grab your favorite cropped tee you already that own that is the perfect length on you and place it on top of the tee you will be cropping, lining them up at the neckline/shoulders. Cut slightly below the hemline of the already cropped tee just in case you cut too short. Try on the newly cropped tee to determine if it is the right length. If it's the right length, throw your cropped tee through the washer & dryer!
