After the success of Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo, Medialab obtained the rights to make a show for television based around the game. The decision was made to use 3D animation to mimic the art style of the games, but that is one of the few things that has any similarities to the source material. What we got was one of the most bizarre pieces of Media imaginable. So, today, let's look at "Donkey Kong Country: Legend of the Crystal Coconut," a VHS tape that strings together 4 episodes of the show into a single feature length adventure!
