A poignant report on Chendru Mandavi, a tribal, who was popularly known as 'tiger boy' for his extraordinary friendship with a wild tiger and other animals. The report recounts the awe-inspiring story of Chendru's childhood which took its turn after he rescued a tiger cub; his shot to fame after his unusual relationship with the wild came to the fore through the Oscar winning film 'Jungle Saga' and the unfortunate life he spent thereafter in poverty. He passed away on September 17, 2013 in Bastar after a prolonged illness.
