Friedensreich Hundertwasser
Austria
Born in December 15, 1928, in Vienna and died on February 19, 2000, aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2, was an Austrian artist, architect, and poet. Nicknamed the "doctor of architecture," he is famous for his visceral aversion to the "straight line" and for his concept of the Tenant Tree.
Hundertwasser's art and architecture are a testament to the power of imagination and a deep love for the environment. His work encourages us to see the world differently, to appreciate the beauty of nature and our role in preserving it. Those buying Hundertwasser art get a chance to own a piece of this extraordinary artist’s legacy, a legacy that continues to inspire and challenge our perceptions of art and the environment.
