Thorpy FX Electric Lightning

Описание: The Electric Lightning is a huge leap forward for the team at Thorpy FX. Electric Lightning is a tube based overdrive! This pedal has got some serious mojo! Do be warned it’s got specific power requirements since the design makes it hungry for power. The Lightning comes with a power supply meant for it but Thorpy has given instructions in the manual for a suitable substitute. Use Caution and please follow the guidelines provided by Thorpy.

The Electric Lightning is also a signature pedal for UK’s own Chris Buck (YouTube Sensation…Guitar Phenom etc) as a small wink and a nod i based my intro jam off my favorite Cardinal Black Song “Where do you go” here is a link to the tune:    • Where Do You Go?  

The pedal itself is pretty straightforward to use it’s essentially a boost into a drive. There is a powerful 3 band eq for the drive, volume and gain for the drive, and Boost and Low EQ for the Boost side. Both the Boost and Overdrive have dedicated foot switches.

For the demo I used 2 Strats one was a maple necked strat with Mark Foley Big Iron pickups. This guitar was used for the jangly/chorusey parts in the intro demo. The other is the Gold Top with White Bound Rosewood neck strat featuring Duncan Antiquity II Surf Strat pickups and a Rio Grande Muy Grande in the bridge. The gold strat really screams!
