For the first time, MSC Gefrees organised a round of the Hard Enduro Series Germany. After 10 months of preparations, all participants, fans and riders were excited about what to expect in the Fichtelgebirge. It was clear to many that it was going to be difficult, as the club is known for its excellent runs to the Trial World Championships.

At the same time, it was decided to hold a race over a period of 4 hours including checkpoints. This is a premiere in Germany and the first time this has ever been done. The feedback from riders, organisers and fans was overwhelmingly positive.
