JJRC C8835 1/14 HUMVEE, NEW WHEELS TEST DRIVE

Описание: I've always fancied a Humvee RC. But the HG P408 was just too pricey.
I have printed a body for one, but couldn't settle on a suitable chassis.
Although this model has some flaws, i.e. the wheels & the suspension, I like it. It drives fine & I will have some fun with this model. I liked it so much I ordered another to keep it company & have a proper military convoy in the future.
Also it's a shame it is not 1/12 scale as it could have run with my 1/12 M35 trucks. They may have to have a small cameo in future videos instead. I could have persuaded myself to get a 1/12 HG P801 Oshkosh Hemtt had it matched the scale. But I'm going to have to build my own at 1/14. Just another project to the list.
The standard tyres out of the box are 74mm diameter. WPL C34 tyres are approximately 72mm. So very little in it. Looks better in my opinion. I did want to use the MN99 V2 tyre, but they are too wide & foul the leaf springs if set further into the body. My get a chance in the future to use these.
The design for the wheels in this video are still a work in progress. Tricky to get right. I understand why the designers at JJRC used the wheels they did.
