In this video, I show you how to fetch and calculate fundamental stock data using Python.
Most trading bots only look at price trends, but in this tutorial, we merge Quarterly Earnings (EPS) with Daily Prices to create a valuation model.
We will cover:
Fetching daily stock prices for Apple, Google, and Microsoft using yfinance.
Scraping Quarterly Earnings (EPS) from company financial statements.
Merging Data: How to combine daily prices with quarterly reports using Pandas.
Calculating the P/E Ratio to determine if a stock is Overvalued or Undervalued.
I used the yfinance library to get the data and pandas to perform the calculations.
