Описание: More than three dozen lucky kids went to Rancho Esquon Friday to band ducks that were hand-reared from eggs rescued from farm fields as part of California Waterfowl’s Dwight L. Merriman, Jr. Egg Salvage & Duck Rescue Program. It was a great opportunity for them to participate, hands-on, in the final product of a wildlife-friendly agriculture process in which farmers let volunteers sweep farm fields for nests prior to harvest, mowing or disking. CWA partnered with 30 farms this year – a huge increase over the eight farms that participated in 2015.
