The museum on the first floor is not free of charge, but the elevator allows to bypass the ticket gate, so it is locked off. At the basement, there are bowling alleys, but these are just sometimes open. The elevator is very hidden, you wouldnt expect it to be there unless you know about it. It is not advertised in the building. Disabled people can use it on request however.
Spiekeroog doesnt have many elevators... I just know about three ones. As the other ones are newer, this 2001-built elevator is probably the oldest one on the island.
Its quite a long walk from the port to this place, to be found in the street Noorderpad.
