In this movie Geoff Carter explores Downtown Cebu City, and comes across some situations certain people would be uncomfortable with in Carbon Public Market place. The fast pace of the local Filipino people Buying, and selling fruit, veg, Meat, fish, linen, & wicker etc is amazing to watch.
The buzz of the place is absolutely amazing, but is not for the faint hearted. There as been stories of hand bag thefts, and Jewelry snatches especially from the many children who are abundant through out the market. The safest way would be in groups of people, or even get a guide? Having said all that, I felt safe, as everyone I spoke with seemed friendly.
Fore warned, is fore armed as they say. Just keep your eye on your valuables and you should be fine? A great experience with lots of bargains to be had.
