Because this car is running an aftermarket turbo, the factory routing for the alternator and starter wiring harness no longer works as Porsche intended. As a result, the brand new OEM harness was too long, forcing me to step back and make the difficult decision to modify a genuine Porsche part — something no one ever wants to do.
