About Guest Speaker Andrew Hale
Andrew Hale started volunteering in Pennsauken, NJ while in high school and began working for Pennsauken EMS shortly after graduating. A few years later, Andrew was hired by Prince William County (Va.) Dept. of Fire and Rescue and has been there for the last 10+ years. He was recently promoted to Lieutenant assigned to Truck 520 which is located on the east end of the county close to Interstate 95 (Manassas close to DC). Andrew has spent the primary portion of his career riding on truck and rescue companies and also enjoys teaching technical rescue classes for the department. For the last few years, Andrew has worked with Blue Collar Training Network LLC and has had the opportunity to teach and meet incredible people who are passionate about the fire service. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Heather and two dogs.

Blue Collar Training Network, LLC was started in 2015 as a way to bridge the gap for departments needing more training. BCTN is owned and operated by Jeff Hakola with a number of instructors located around the United States. The overall goal of our company is to bring fire service information to departments in order to build their cadre of instructors and help develop their fire fighting skills. Our foundational belief is that skill is developed through hands-on, practical evolutions. Our instructors are highly-motivated firefighters who are devoted to giving back to the fire service.
