Welcome to the first episode of our brand new project - The Orkney Series!
Over the next few weeks, Jeana and Kristan will be travelling around the islands we're lucky enough to call home, having a blast of some Orcadian tunes in the very places that inspired their names! We hope you’ll enjoy the journey along with us.
In this episode, we visit bonny Birsay for a shot of ‘The Birsay Haddock’ by Andy Cant! During the video you'll catch a glimpse of Marwick Head, swinging round to the Brough of Birsay - a tidal island very popular with puffin spotters; and finish with the Whalebone - an iconic landmark in the parish, and a great spot to catch the setting sun!
