Another video about our 2019 Chevrolet 5500HD.
As I talked about in another video on this truck, the ride is the worst of any truck I have driven in the last 40 years.
The Cab, engine, and transmission are the best, supplied by Chevrolet, but the chassis supplied by International Harvester is the worst out there, we are talking 60 year old tech.
We first added an air ride seat, then tried better front shocks, then added rear shocks, re-sprung the rear 2 times, replaced the front springs with a custom made spring pack, added rear air bags..... Some of this helped a little, but the ride still sucks.

Last month I was on Duramaxforum.com, I shared my video with a guy (Sambor) on how to get the dealer to increase your top speed to 79 MPH.

After he watched my video he shared with me about a video he saw about a cab air ride kit made by Monroe Truck Equipment out of Wisconsin.

I was quickly contacted by a guy named Dan an inside sales coordinator with Monroe.
He asked a few questions about my truck then quoted me a very fair price and after paying he shipped it right out to me.
