I KNEW this would happen!! One day, I KNEW I would be asked to perform "The Great Fairy Fountain" from Legend of Zelda -- ever since my now-husband first showed me the clip when we were in college as freshies, I had put 2+2=4 and knew that it was only a matter of time.

Well, that time has come: this soundtrack background music, composed by Koji Kondo, has been commissioned to be played as background music at a wedding this Saturday!

I did my best to make this look graceful and flowing, but there are a couple fun pedaling moments and huge right-hand chord spans to make this happen. Add in that the right-hand is playing so high, with the left-hand jumping around so frequently, that I can't use my peripheral vision to inform if I'm on the correct strings, such that I have to rely SOLELY on muscle-memory and connecting between the chords? Phew!!

Still, I DID IT!
