Relaxing Beginner's English Lesson ASMR Roleplay

Описание: I was originally thinking that, depending on the reception to this video, I might make it a series, or something; but good grief this ASMR Basic English Lesson took it out of me and the editing got pretty lazy towards the end!

Obviously it doesn’t help that I’m still not feeling 100% and am very spotty, so apologies for my slightly wavering voice and unsightly face. But I think the basic exercises and repetition make the video quite relaxing, so hopefully even if you speak English you’ll still be able to get something out of it!

Otherwise, the video is based on the syllabus on the ‘English for Everyone’ Level 1 Beginner Coursebook published by Dorling Kindersley, but from a very British English angle. It covers how to greet someone (saying ‘hello’), introducing yourself, as well as covering the alphabet – extensively – so that you can spell your name. There are also a couple of speaking exercises at the end to help you practice. Let me know in the comments if you think this is a helpful resource, because I still might consider making other English learning tools, but also let me know if you enjoyed it from an ASMR perspective. 🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.

📽 What is FPC? 🎞

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
