This is why selecting exercises that can train multiple systems at a time gives you the most bang for your buck.

Static and dynamic holds using kettlebells or dumbbells can be one of the easiest ways to improve your balance while increasing your posture and grip strength. And if you don’t have access to any weights you can get creative with finding random household objects around the home.

If you haven’t tried this before start with a light weight in one hand first and practice just standing in place. Then as you improve you can progress to heavier weights and practice walking with the weight. This exercise can be tailored to challenge the beginner level person who has never lifted a weight in their life AND could also challenge the athlete that maybe has more experience!
