En un pequeño lago cerca de casa que siempre nos da muchas alegrías, pude ver unos cuantos ejemplares de este boletal que aquí os comparto, su sombrero afelpado es muy llamativo, es comestible de baja calidad y muy común en nuestros bosques caducifolios. Esa mañana también puede ver unos bonitos cormoranes que también comparto.

Xerocomus subtomentosus (L.) Quél. 1888
Características:
-Sombrero: mediano de 3 a 10 cm, su forma pasa de hemisférico para ir aplanándose con la madurez. La superficie tomentosa o afelpada de color verde oliva amarillento a verde oliva pardo. El margen es excedente
Los tubos son largos hasta 1,5 cm el color varía del amarillo en ejemplares jóvenes a verde amarillentos en adultos
Los poros, son angulares sobre todo cerca del pie, adnatos y un poco decurrentes de color amarillo a verde oliva amarillento, a la presión cambian ligeramente a azul
Pie: Cilíndrico, en ocasiones curvado, se estrecha hacia la base, presenta pliegues o costillas laterales, de color amarillo a amarillo ocre, también se aprecian puntos ocres rojizo.
-Carne. Un poco esponjosa en el sombrero y dura en el pie, de color blanco en el sombrero y un poco amarillenta ocre en el pie. Al corte puede azulear un poco al corte en alguna ocasión. Olor un poco afrutado y sabor agradable
-Comestibilidad: Comestible no muy apreciado
-Hábitat: Principalmente en bosques caducifolios, en este caso en roble
-Lugar: Bizkaia, País Vasco
-Época: Verano y Otoño
