Members of the Julie Young Dance Studios in Perth giving a display of Highland dancing, during the 2025 City of Perth Salute. This was held at North Inch at Perth in Scotland, on Sunday 10th August 2025.

The Julie Young Dance School is based in Perth and has provided exceptional dance training in all disciplines, for thousands of local children. As well as performing at City events, many students have gone on to perform at the Royal Ballet, Commonwealth Games, the Moulin Rouge and the prestigious Edinburgh Tattoo.
The City of Perth Salute is a fantastic free event, which brings the atmosphere of a Tattoo event to Perth City centre. This includes military and civilian bands from across Scotland, a parade through the streets, and an open air, grandstand arena on the North Inch by the river Tay in Perth.
