Don’t let this moment slip away We can indeed sit on the lap of Sri Hari
There is nothing equal to Hari kirtanam There is nothing difficult in singing His names
The Name of Hari is indeed the essence of the Vedas There is no doubt, this is the truth!
In a moment, as we all come together And sing His praises on this earth

Meaning:
I will talk about the glory of Nama, hear ye all!
(The Divine Name of Hari) purifies even the fallen
Despite being born in the clan of asuras and facing numerous challenges
by attaining the grace of the divine Sage Narada,
He chanted the eight-letter Mantra (Om Namo Narayanaya) without fail
and attained the the hard-to-attain fortune, isn’t it?
A nomadic hunter who murdered for a living
chanted the tharaka mantra (Rama Nama), isn’t it?
By the power of Nama, he composed the first ever poetry
And became a sage whom we all bow to
Despite being born into a noble clan and doing all inappropriate things
He called out at the end of his life -
Called out to his Son, isn’t it?
Since his son's name was also the name of Narayana
Hari came and took him swiftly along, isn’t it?
Chanting Krishna’s name with firm conviction
that Brahmin's (Sudama) wish was also fulfilled
For Muralidharan too, who sings the glories of the Supreme in tunes,
The name of Bhagavan is the refuge, isn't it?
