Welcome back everyone!!
Today we are going to create 4 colors out of buckthorn, an invasive plant in north america!
the leaves can give you a beautiful warm yellow,
from the berries you can get olive greens from the whole fruit or blue from the skins
and lastly, the bark can be steeped with wool in an alkaline solution at around PH 11 and give pinks that are almost purple!!
I hope you enjoy this adventure in natural dye, and you try it yourself, while controlling this plant that is taking over ecosystems!
