In week six of the series “Bold Prayers,” the message is “Breaking Bread.” This message reminds us that brokenness is not something to avoid but something God uses for His glory and our joy. Through the story of Mary’s costly offering, the image of the threshing floor, and the covenant meal in Mark 14, we see that Jesus’ body was broken and His blood was poured out to establish a covenant, not a contract, with us. Communion calls us to remember His faithfulness, embrace childlike faith, and run our race with endurance. The challenge is simple but bold: “Lord, break me like bread. Make me pour out wine for Your glory.”
