The fate of the children (upper porthole) and the young girl (lower left) is not yet known to the artist.

The young man at lower left was 19 when the ship left Hamburg:
Klaus Helmut Goldschmidt. He was eventually murdered at the Auschwitz mass murder - extermination -death camp.

Drawing # 2: The fate of the girl at upper left is not yet known to the artist. He hopes to find out info from the US Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Klaus Helmut Goldschmidt is depicted in both drawings.
