The expert of our 3rd webinar is Dr Carmen Avilés Salas expert from PreGen, IVF centre from Spain.

The webinar’s presenter, Dr Carmen Avilés Salas is a gynaecologist specializing in reproduction at the Reproduction Unit of Clínica Vistahermosa in Spain. During the webinar she talked about embryo development and transfer protocols in her presentation. In the recording, you can also see short videos showing embryo development at various stages. Dr Avilés is an experienced doctor and a member of a few renowned medical associations: Spanish Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (SEGO) and Spanish Society of Fertility (SEF). Dr Avilés is part of the medical team at PreGen, an IVF centre which belongs to Vistahermosa hospital in Spain. The clinic boasts more than 34 years of experience in the field of reproductive medicine and in vitro. More than 1,650 IVF are performed there annually. Pregen’s average success rate has been recorded at 67%. The clinic provides a variety of programs including egg donation, in vitro for same sex couples, IVF for single women, embryo donation, and also PGS & PGD.

The maximum age for egg recipients is 50 and there are no age limitations for fertility treatments for men. International patients are drawn to the clinic mainly because of the additional services (embryo hatching, etc.) as well as convenient overnight accommodation for coupled around the date of the egg retrieval appointment in Spain.
