SOBAT UT Collaboration! 📚 D3 TOAB FT UMJ Educates at SMKN 2 SETU BEKASI

Описание: On February 3, 2025, the Diploma 3 Program in Heavy Equipment & Automotive Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (FT UMJ), conducted a D3 Teaching Program at SMKN 2 SETU BEKASI. This activity was part of the SOBAT UT program implementation, aimed at strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and vocational schools to develop students' competencies in automotive and heavy equipment engineering.

During this event, the D3 TOAB FT UMJ team presented educational materials designed to broaden students' understanding of the rapidly evolving heavy equipment industry. The materials included:

✅ Introduction to the D3 TOAB FT UMJ Program: A comprehensive explanation of the program, which offers practice-based learning aligned with industry needs, complete laboratory facilities, and promising career opportunities after graduation.

✅ Curriculum Based on the National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI): A presentation on a curriculum designed according to SKKNI to ensure graduates possess competencies that meet national standards and industry demands.

✅ Product Knowledge: In-depth insights into the technology and components of heavy equipment and their industrial applications.

✅ Use of Measurement Tools: Hands-on training in using technical measurement tools to ensure accurate component measurements, a crucial skill in the heavy equipment industry.

The event was led by faculty members from the D3 TOAB FT UMJ, including Dr. (can) Ari Aryadi, S.Pd., M.T., and Reza Febriano Armas, M.T., accompanied by students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts. Their presence provided students with the opportunity to engage in discussions and learn directly from educators and experienced students in the field.

From the school's side, the event was warmly welcomed by Mr. Hadi, the Head of the Heavy Equipment Engineering Department (TAB), and Mr. Albar, S.Pd., M.Pd., the Department Vice Chair. The collaboration between FT UMJ and SMKN 2 SETU BEKASI demonstrated both parties' commitment to supporting the development of students' skills and preparing them for the workforce.

This activity is expected not only to provide new knowledge to the students of SMKN 2 SETU BEKASI but also to motivate them to pursue higher education, particularly in the D3 Heavy Equipment & Automotive Engineering Program at FT UMJ.

This program represents a tangible step by D3 TOAB FT UMJ in fostering a generation of competent young individuals ready to compete in the increasingly challenging automotive and heavy equipment industries.
