The India Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory as a system moving west-northwest is expected to bring rainfall to southern states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the coming days. Several areas in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, have already witnessed waterlogging due to heavy rainfall.
