Описание: Dr. Cloudius Ray Sagandira, a Principal Researcher at the CSIR in South Africa, holds a PhD in Chemistry from Nelson Mandela University (2019) and is an expert in continuous flow chemistry with over eight years of experience. Specializing in scalable, sustainable processes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), he has developed flow processes for more than 15 APIs, forming a cornerstone of API production research in Africa. His innovative work, backed by three patents and 20 journal publications, is Dr. Cloudius Ray Sagandira is developing modern, sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities across Africa, promoting the continent’s local Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) production sector. Dr. Sagandira completed postdoctoral training at Nelson Mandela University, Chimie ParisTech, and DiverChim CDMO in France, and interned at Novartis in Switzerland. Passionate about improving healthcare in low-and-middle-income countries, his leadership and groundbreaking contributions drive sustainable, scalable solutions, significantly enhancing global health accessibility through advanced manufacturing technologies.
