Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gave a brief interview on February 23, 2025, in which he explained that the center's purpose in the Philippines is not only to help Filipino students gain better access to quality secular education but, most importantly, to strengthen their testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
